The Fifth Annual Best Dam Vintage Trailer Rally hosted by Mike Breton was held again at The Dam Site Campground in Bull Shoals, Arkansas above the Bull Shoals Dam, April 21, 22, & 23. Well supported by the City of Bull Shoals, the event was enriched by the city even providing dry firewood and goody bags. This year featured sunshine, blooming dogwoods and over thirty trailers.
Five brands attended that were unknown to many of the campers. Campers brought their treasures from four states: Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri and Arkansas.
Good times were shared around the campfires. With a tour of the Ranger Boat factory campers enjoyed an in person perspective of the process. The rest of the time was spent exploring the beauty of the lakes, rivers, and Ozark mountains. Campers also enjoyed antique shopping and restaurant sampling.
As others have said “The trailers brought us together, but the people keep us coming back.” So true.
