New Member Interview with Tina Driggers

Can you tell us about how you got into the vintage trailer hobby?
I believe I’ve always been an old soul. Since I was a kid, I’ve always liked old movies and old things, especially those things that you just knew had been cherished by someone. It was clear to me that many vintage trailers had been dearly loved in their past lives, and I guess I just wanted to love one of them, too!

What type of trailers have you owned and what do you have now? What is your dream vintage trailer?
My first was Buttercup, a 1966 Phoenix. She is now living her best life as a coffee trailer! My second, and current, is Miss Bubbles. Miss Bubbles is a 1966 Timberline Deluxe. My dream travel trailer would have to be a ‘61 or ‘62 Holiday Rambler.

What do you tow with?
A 2014 RAM 1500 4×4

Do you attend rallies and what do you like the most about attending a rally?
I haven’t attended any rallies as yet. But I look forward to getting to at least one near the beach next summer!

Why did you decide to join the Tin Can Tourists?
Because it’s a group of like-minded folks, who seem like people I’d like to hang out with! Like me, they obviously adore their vinties!

What are your camping plans for this year?
Again, a rally near the sea shore, some trips around New Mexico, where I live, and maybe to Florida to visit friends.
