  1. Don was a very good friend of mine. We met on the route 40 National Road Caravan. We did several campout over the years since we lived so close together in Illinois.don often travel with TC his pet Cockatoo bird Tin Can.

  2. Condolences to his family and friends. He sounds like he enjoyed the vagabond life of the TCT gatherings and travel caravans
We haven been able to get to any events since before Covid. But still use our trailer here in Canada

  3. I enjoyed talking with Don, such an interesting and great guy. He’ll definitely be missed.

  4. Don will be missed. We had enjoyed travelling with Don on the Tin Can Tourist caravan a few years back. He was such an enjoyable person to travel with. Fun times. Don had met us one year in Chicago along with Doug and did a tour of Chicago One thing we still laugh about today was a taxi ride in Chicago that Don, John and I (Janice) did. It was quite the taxi ride and Don keep me calm talking about things as I think he noticed I was a little white knuckled holding on to the seat while we darted in and out of traffic getting to our destination. He had wonderful stories and we were privileged to know Don through the tin can tourist. On my special birthday Don drew up a special poster and had tin can members sign it. It has a special spot at our cabin on the wall and every time we look at it , it reminds us of our tin can friend Don and you will be missed.
