Tin Can Tourists member, Kathi Waters, sent us this email about her sister’s embroidery business and the garden flag she made for her, she thought others might also enjoy one. We saw this flag at a rally and it really is very nice!
Here is the email with pictures:
I had carefully done lettering on a chalkboard to describe our vintage camper, with our name, our camper’s name, and our hometown. It looked nice, but the chalkboard was bulky, and we had to remember to move it into our truck any time that it rained.

When I realized that I could have a weather resistant flag embroidered with the same information, I jumped on it. Not only was Pam able to replicate the lettering, but she matched the colors I had used on our chalkboard, and even designed an embroidered version of our camper’s “logo.”

(She subsequently embroidered hand towels for our camper with the same logo).

Pam was in communication every step of the way, giving me choices about the fabric, font, design details, colors, size, and layout. I was super pleased with the turnaround time and the final result! With louvered windows, it’s always hard to find a way to display the “fill in the blank” paper description we’re given at registration. The flag rolls up and stores in a cabinet, which is SO much easier than packing a fragile chalkboard! Highly recommended 🙂
