Corsair
Manufactured by Vought Industries or built by Divco-Wayne Industries Inc. in Marlette, Michigan
A trailer company established in the 1960s, Corsair entered the marketplace with recreational vehicles starting at 13 feet in length. Building travel trailers at the beginning, Corsair would add fifth wheel trailers in the 1970s to better cater campground vacationing. Producing trailers up to 41 feet near the end, Corsair’s final year of sales occurred in the 2005 model year.
Here are some pics of my Corsair. Found out it’s a 1962 Corsair by Vought industries. This camper was on flat bed headed to junk yard . Someone told the guy list it free for taking and someone will want it. I see it 12 minutes in. Called and got to SAVE IT. It sat on a lake lot from 1983 until now. I greased wheel bearings and towed it 110 miles home. I’m in Maine. Inside is trashed but going to restore her. Going to become a member of your club soon. Thanks for letting me share a rare pieces of history. Jay Ball
