From Sheila Ferguson – My Dad, Richard Ferguson owned Space Age along with his Dad. They started the company in Goshen, IN and later moved to Wakarusa, IN. He was also the designer of the campers. He currently owns a 1967 Space Age.

About Serial Numbers: There should be a VIN number and a two-digit month and year stamped into the passenger-side of the tongue near where the hitch is attached.

From Charles Yoder: Space Age was bought in 1969 by Coachmen Industries. A few months later, it was moved to a plant on the Coachmen complex in Middlebury. The brand disappeared a few years later. I was working for Coachmen’s advertising division at the time and wrote an advertising brochure for Space Age. They were nice looking trailers.
