New Member interview with Jeff & Michelle Miller

Can you tell us about how you got into the vintage trailer hobby

Just getting into Vintage trailers, but are old car buffs, so it just seems natural.

What type of trailers have you owned and what do you have now? What is your dream vintage trailer?

We have a handshake agreement to purchase a 1965 Airstream Tradewind from a friend in the spring. It is “camp ready” so we will change a few decorator items, but nothing major.  My family had campers when I was young, but rarely towed them, they were at parks.

What do you tow with?

Mainly a GMC Sierra, but am looking into hitch and harness for the 47 Ford Tudor

Do you attend rallies and what do you like the most about attending a rally?

We plan on attending a few rallies, have not yet.
Why did you decide to join the Tin Can Tourists?

We have a few friends who are members

What are your camping plans for this year?

Attending some rallies, a few car shows and other yet to be planned weekends. Looking forward to camping with friends and making new ones too.

  1. We have a 65 Tradewind. I see you have the original fabric on the gaucho in the bedroom. On the surface your mahogany panels look wonderful. I suggest you keep it original. We restored ours from the ground up, but the inside looks like yours, but with new appliances. If you have questions, etc. I am on Facebook and PM me.
