The Pismo Beach Rally is considered to be the largest vintage trailer rally in the world. Over the years several of the longer term attendees and it’s founders wanted to organize a version of that rally that better reflected its origins. Paul and Caroline Lacitinola agreed to host such a rally, the Trail Along to Pismo Vintage Trailer Rally, 2022.
They held registrations to 200 for the first return of this rally, even yet there was a waiting list of 100! There were lots of activities, many of them driven by attendees like the Friday nite Trailer Crawl, block party, vintage trailer related movies, bowling, and so much more.
And of course there were amazing trailers, some brands you have likely never seen. Great restorations, lots of vintage gear for sale, hard to leave!

Adding a Pismo rally to our list of events and rallies gives me an excuse to take Caroline to the beach. She loves the ocean! If I can’t find her, I know where to look. Already have our wheels turning for next year> Several ideas and volunteers are already willing to help. Maybe we will see you at one of our rallies-

We live about 15 minutes away. Try to attend every year. Awesome event!
Craig and I were in California, so we went to the rally to see all the cool campers. We were not disappointed!
One beautiful camp ground and all the campers seem to have a good time with each other that is what makes it fun.
We are not completely finished with our ’53-’54 Silver Streak 22″ Clipper BUT would love to see other travel trailers , nothing compares to the vintage models, when we see one we always smile, would love to go to a meet but don’t know if you have to be show worthy, we are a driver, 3 months in Alaska, just got back from a few weeks in the Black Hills.
We were lucky enough to attend this event and had a fabulous time. Pismo is beautiful spot and there were lots of great activities to meet fellow campers. Can’t wait for next year!
Paul and Caroline throw a great event wherever it is and this was no exception. Definitely had attendees from both Northern and Southern California along with many other states . A wide variety of trailers were present
Pismo maybe my new favorite vintage trailer rally! Paul and Caroline are fantastic hosts. I made new friends and enjoyed visiting with old friends. The ocean was relaxing, the food was great. I can’t wait to go back. I found my Happiness!
We love vintage and we attend the Pismo rally every spring. This was a blow out! So many activities that brought folks together. It was a joy. How old does a rig need to be to qualify?
