My name is Mychel. What made me get into vintage was seeing the little camper while camping with a 26 footer, and I fell in love with the old, clean days of old that is brought back within these little rigs.
I currently have a barn find 1978 13ft bumper to hitch Nomad by Skyline.
I am extremely happy with it and I think I would like to acquire a 1954 or 56 vintage camper of some model.
I actually tow this little rig of mine with a 1996 GMC pick up with a total of 250,000 miles and it is not afraid to pull it wherever I want to go
My little camper is named little pelican and my truck is named miss red.
I myself have yet to attend a rally because mostly the rallies in Indiana and close by have already happened in Indiana currently it is mid August so I can’t wait till next year to attend several rallies.
I am at decided to do some homework on Tin Can Tourists by reading reviews and also visiting their site and studying the history of rallies and I wanted to be a part of Tin Can Tourists.
As of right now I am camping in several state campgrounds in Bluffton, Indiana area and enjoying in bringing back my little pelican Nomad to her original glory. With a couple of updates right now little pelican is of a nautica theme as we love traveling to Florida, Hawaii and The Keys.
