New Member Interview with Gary and Kasina White

Can you tell us about how you got into the vintage trailer hobby?

I and my family are into classic cars so a classic camper was a great fit.

Do you attend rallies and what do you like the most about attending a rally?

Not yet but we are attending the Camp Dearborn fall gathering and looking forward to it.

What type of trailers have you owned and what do you have now?

We have had a newer travel trailer and a popup. We currently have a custom built 1984 teardrop camper.

What is your dream vintage trailer?

We really like the one we have currently.

What do you tow with?

We tow with a 2020 Chevy Blazer and my 1947 Pontiac Coupe.

Why did you decide to join the Tin Can Tourists?

We have a few friends that are in the club as well.

What are your camping plans for this year?

We are planning a 2 week trip out west next year.

  1. I am a Chili Cook with the I.C.S. Have been doing this since 1978, enjoy traveling around the good old U.S.A. especially with the 1973 Nomad that is my Cool Trailer light weight & it makes it easy on the gas cost & i like the looks i get, people know it’s a treasure.
