October 11, 1950 — September 20, 2024
The Tin Can Tourists lost a wonderful man and one of our regional representatives this week. Orbie hosted many events in the Northwest and stepped down from his representative position last year and others are carrying on the events he started. Orbie will be missed by many Tin Can Tourists including his signature email closing:
A.Watt (Orbie) Mungall
Retired (now a “crusty”) Doodlebugger 1978-2008
“There is not a problem that dynamite will not fix quick.”

Andrew Watt (Orbie) Mungall, 73, of Willard, Utah passed away peacefully on September 20, 2024, at home. He was born October 11, 1950, in Cedartown, Georgia to Andrew Watt and Mary Mungall.
He is survived by his loving wife, Emie, and their son, Kurt Johnson. He is also survived by a sister, Mary Stuart Heath and her husband, Wayne, of Beaufort, South Carolina.
Watt grew up on Lake Hartwell in Clemson, South Carolina where he was active in the Boy Scouts. He later became a Boy Scout Leader. Outdoor life was always a priority. Watt graduated from Coker College and worked during the summers at Yellowstone National Park during college. The West “called his name” and he rarely returned to the East Coast.
While out West, he worked in the Seismic industry as a Permit Agent for Typhoon Energy. He was active in the Mountain Man Rendezvous culture and once collected homeowner’s insurance after his buckskin teepee burned. He was also the Representative of the Northwest Tin Can Tourist and enjoyed all aspects of the rallies.
Watt also served in the Navy followed by the Army Reserves. Honorably discharged from service in 1996.
The family would like to thank all of the dedicated friends from Applegate Hospice who gave loving care and support along the journey at the end. The compassionate care and guidance during this difficult time was invaluable. They helped Watt live his life to the fullest-with dignity.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring of 2025. Details will follow.

It was an honor to know Orbie and ‘Em. We attended several rallies we each hosted across three states and more. He was always fun. He was a great supporter of TCT as the NW Regional Rep. Just a good guy. Godspeed Orbie.
Such a great friend and mentor. Orbie always had time to talk and help with questions anytime related to his vast experience with the ole trailers in need of some TLC. My heart goes out to Emmy for her true love and companion, she is always so upbeat and kind at the rallies. The world will miss this ole doodlebug as well as me. Thanks for sharing Orbie, and I will never forget to pass on your love of everything vintage trailers!
