1959 Serro Scotty Sportsman 12 Rear-door Trailer
In 1959 a unique Serro Scotty 12 foot rear-door model named the Sportsman 12 was introduced. This model was manufactured for only six months as Serro began its transition from teardrops to larger trailers.
This rare trailer is one of very few remaining. One is in the RV Museum. Less than 100 were manufactured and less than 10 are known to still exist….fewer yet in this condition.
This trailer has:
Original window frames, door frame, trailer frame and axle.
Aluminum exterior skin has been replaced.
Reflextix insulation between interior walls and skin
13” Coker classic BF Goodrich white wall tires
Steel smoothie rims.

Mahogany ceiling
2 x 2 pine ceiling studs and cabinet framing
cabinets are a combination of birch and mahogany with oak doors and maple banding
Amber shellac.
All new 12 V and 120 V wiring
3 120 V power outlets
1 12 V power outlet

Ice box
3 inch foam with new fabric and curtains.
New window cranks

7-way round plug all new wiring, rubber coated underlined frame

This camper can be pulled by pretty much any type of vehicle. I pull it with my 4 cyl Honda Element.
