For sale: a unique 1965 Serro Scotty Sportsman that was custom-rebuilt in 2015 as a beautiful “Woody” from the frame up. This isn’t a typical teardrop — the sides were built outside the tires for extra width (6’6” wide), giving it significantly more usable interior space while keeping the classic lightweight Serro Scotty profile and easy towing.
We bought her in California in 2020 and she became our family’s go-to adventure rig. All five of us (kids around age 10 at the time) slept comfortably side-by-side. She’s wider and more livable than most minis, yet still only ~1,100 lbs dry — any car (or truck with a motorcycle!) can pull her with ease. We towed her all over California, used her for family camping trips, and I frequently took her to track days as a perfect solo base camp.
Sleeps 2–3 adults: two generous single beds or convert the custom setup to a king.
Dining table seats 4 for meals or card games.
