We are reluctantly offering our beloved 1962 Shasta Astrodome, Lillian Rose.
Important for vintage-trailer enthusiasts: Lillian Rose is a restomod, not a historically accurate or factory-original restoration. We chose modern usability while preserving the character and spirit of the original Shasta.
Purchased in 2022, she has been extensively restored and road-tested, including trips from Virginia → Texas → Alabama and numerous regional trips.
Major work includes:
• Complete modern rewiring
• Electric brakes
• New tires & repacked bearings
• Frame repairs/rewelding
• Wood-rot repair & added insulation
• Sides pulled, repaired & resealed; no leaks
• Windows repaired/replaced, resealed
• Roof resealed with butyl tape + new vents

The interior is a mid-century/retro design with turquoise and white finishes. The wallpaper and fabric feature cartoon illustrations of two of our own dogs—because Lillian Rose has primarily been our dog-sports trailer. ❤️
She proudly displays her exterior dents/bruises; she has no shower; and the fresh-water tank is the one remaining project. Her best cruising speed is 60–65 mph. We're selling because she's just too small for one person + three dogs.
