OUR LOSS. YOUR VERY COOL GAIN. 🤪
We bought this incredibly rare 1947 Rolling Homes Invader, built in Los Angeles by American Aircraft Products Co., then spent $10K MORE than we paid having it professionally restored.
One problem: it wasn’t watertight.
So we basically started over. We stripped it down and spent nearly every weekend last summer doing a frame-up restoration ourselves, with serious attention to waterproofing, structure, wiring and insulation. And YES, it’s WATERTIGHT now, sealed with Semco marine-grade sealant inside and out.
THE HARD & EXPENSIVE WORK IS DONE.
Included:
• $900 solid-wood dovetailed kitchenette
• New hight end stainless sink + 2-burner stovetop & fixtures
• Custom 3form dining table/hydraulic bed conversion
• Brand New roof A/C
• New LVP flooring/subfloor + hardwood framing
• Custom cushions/upholstery
• Original aluminum upper cabinets
• New custom windows/screens (Vintage Fender amp screen)
• New 110V shore power/breaker box
• Completely rewired + USB outlets, 12V fuse box & LED lighting
• 1" foam insulation

• Custom black walnut screen door
• Original aircraft-riveted aluminum body
It’s a 16' ultra-light aluminum trailer with incredible aviation-era character.
Walls/ceiling and final furnishings still need installation, plus a refrigerator and optional solar. We did the dirty work. You get the fun part.
Photos/videos document the restoration. DM for details.
