Meet new TCT member Catherine, owner of Vintage Camper Share

I don’t know… maybe other TCT members might be interested in my growing little business. I am starting to do more marketing (mostly to reduce the number of miles I have to drive to sustain this fledgling enterprise….) Was just featured as the Owner of the Month (or is it week) by Outdoorsy, the big RV rental company that I do my booking for. . . and just interviewed for a podcast by my local paper. Will be doing more outreach this winter. https://www.outdoorsy.com/blog/owner-week-catherine-light

Owner Of The Week: Catherine Light | Never Idle Journal For Outdoorsy owner Catherine Light, life—and everything in it—is anything but dull. In fact, she has a magical way of taking everything in her world and making it beautiful and amazing.www.outdoorsy.com

This year…Was fun… had lots of exciting adventures delivering these campers this year (over 50 bookings) you can read more by visiting the 2019 Highlights page here…

2019 Season Highlights | Vintage Camper Share The rare ’63 Shasta was used as a photo booth/bar at a family party and later, as a “love shack” for a couple reunited after decades apart… A classic car buff booked the ’58 FAN,” Tin Can Annie, for a classic car show at the Syracuse fairground; a professional photographer from Schoharie for a Christmas family photo shoot. vintagecampershare.com

I look forward to my TCT membership. This year is a challenge, as NYS is charging huge fees to become an official approved vendor in each of the state campgrounds. Huge.

Enjoy a unique camping experience…

  1. I acidently deleted the article about the June TCT rally in Michigan at the campgound near Cadillac MI. Could someone forward me the details? thank you

  2. I am the author of a recently published book entitled: “RV Electrical & Appliance Systems: Why They Don’t Work and How They Could Be Fixed.” This very extensive 412 page 2.5 pound book took me ten years to write and get to print. I am convinced it contains information not found in any other books. The book emphasizes RVing for long periods of time off the grid (which I do for months at a time without even owning a generator— I use energy saving appliances and do all my battery charging while I drive.) Would you (Catherine Light) consider carrying this book at your store? You don’t necessarily need to carry physical copies, it could be a special order item which I could ship from my house. Please visit my website.

  3. For vintage campers available in the UK, have a read on camperbug. Like Catherine, mentioned in the article, there are hundreds of owners renting classic campervans.
