Received this via email and we are helping get the word out! If you call or email, let Roger know you heard this through the Tin Can Tourists

Greetings:
We are seeking a few owners of 1920s–1950s vintage travel trailers or motorhomes within approximately 100 miles of Joplin, Missouri, for a historic motor-camping display at Schifferdecker Park on September 19, 2026, commemorating early automobile tourism, Route 66 and the Jefferson Highway.
This special event is part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Toute 66 and also a celebration of the 100th anniversary of its crossing with the historic Jefferson Highway.
The event will include Tin Can Camper member and historian Daniel Hershberger from Michigan who will be involved in the recreation of the historic tourist camp that once was located in the park .
I have enclosed a brochure of the event and there will be much more over the weekend. Please contact us at 918.869.8107 or email jhoklahoma@zoho.com if you can help us in any way.
Roger Bell – PresidentÂ

As Roger mentioned is his announcement, I will be there with my 1927 Auto- Kamp trailer on display with a full complement of 1920s gear and doing campsite talks at 11 am and 2 pm. If any TCT members do attend, please stop by the exhibit and say hello! Daniel Hershberger
